Where the controller sits
The controller sits between the meter and the charge points. It measures what the building is drawing and releases to the charge points whatever the connection has to spare — locally, without a detour through the cloud.

Enough control for most sites
One meter, one control stage, one installation. TELECONTROL measures what the building draws and releases to the charge points whatever the connection has to spare — which is all a site with uniform wallboxes on one connection needs.

Limits
What TELECONTROL deliberately does not do
TELECONTROL is the smaller licence tier of the same hardware. Three things are reserved for DYLAMO — if any of them applies to your site, DYLAMO is the right choice.
Modbus rather than OCPP
Charge points connect over Modbus TCP — different makes side by side too, as long as the model is already implemented. OCPP charge points need DYLAMO.
One meter
TELECONTROL evaluates exactly one meter. Multiple measuring points — per building section or transformer — require DYLAMO.
Manages only itself
The controller manages its own installation. Bringing heat pumps, PV inverters and transformers into the same control loop is reserved for DYLAMO.
Which models are already connected is listed in the compatibility list. If your make is missing, ask us — adding a new one is usually quick. We need the manufacturer, the model and the firmware version.
