Dynamic, multi-dimensional load management
aCharge DYLAMO
For installations where charge points from different vendors have to work together — alongside heat pump, PV array and transformer, in one control loop.
How it's wired
Where the controller sits
The controller sits between the meter and the charge points. It measures what the building is drawing and releases to the charge points whatever the connection has to spare — locally, without a detour through the cloud.
Load management, explained interactively
Capabilities
Several control variables, not one
“Multi-dimensional” means DYLAMO does not just regulate charge points against one meter: it balances several measuring points, generators and consumers against each other, keeping every level within its own limit.
- Dynamic, multi-dimensional load management in real time
- Mixed-vendor charge points — over both OCPP and Modbus TCP
- Heat pumps, PV inverters and transformers in the same control loop
- Up to 1,000 charge points per site in one system
- Remote monitoring with alerting on faults
- Automatic metrology-compliant billing of every session
- § 14a EnWG grid-serving control, every dimming event logged
- Keeps running locally through an outage and re-syncs automatically
Regulation
Limit instead of switching off
For newly installed controllable consumers above 4.2 kW, grid-serving control is no longer optional but mandatory. In return the grid operator grants reduced grid fees and shorter approval times.
When a control signal arrives, DYLAMO reduces charging power to the permitted level instead of shutting the installation down — and logs every event traceably.
Signal path
- 1 The grid operator sends a control signal
- 2 The ripple-control receiver closes a potential-free contact
- 3 The controller limits charging power to 4.2 kW
- 4 The event is logged and stays auditable

What aCharge DYLAMO costs
One controller per site, plus a licence per connected charge point. Both one-off — the load management itself has no recurring cost.

3.136 €
One-off per site, including the aCharge DYLAMO licence.
Charge point licence
110 €
One-off per connected charge point.

- Upgrading from aCharge TELECONTROL to DYLAMO is possible.
One connection, uniform wallboxes, one meter? Then the entry-level tier is enough — and costs less.

What does “dynamic” actually mean here?
We turned a full day of charging into an interactive simulation: three control strategies, six vehicles, one connection. Afterwards it is clear what the controller does all day.

Tell us how many charge points should hang off which connection and which vendors are involved — we will tell you which tier is enough.
