Common questions

How does the system know which vehicle goes first?
Through the charging priority on the access medium. Vehicles leaving early get “maximum”, the rest charge on whatever is left. The favoured car is then the one you need tomorrow morning, not the one plugged in first.
What changes in 2026 for reimbursing home charging?
The tax-free flat rate for employees charging a company car at home ends — only actual consumption may be reimbursed. aCharge records those home sessions separately and settles them with the employer automatically, which is exactly what that requires.
Do all charge points have to come from the same vendor?
No. aCharge DYLAMO connects charge points over OCPP and Modbus TCP — mixed within the same installation if need be. You can start with whatever is available and add more later without committing to one vendor.
What happens during an internet outage?
The controller keeps regulating on site and enforces the site capacity unchanged, so charging continues. Once the connection returns it re-synchronises with the cloud automatically; sessions and meter readings are not lost.
