Common questions

Which documents do I need to register with the grid operator?
The § 14a EnWG accompanying certificate for the device used, plus the declaration of conformity. Both are in the downloads area without registration, separately for TELECONTROL and DYLAMO.
Do I have to be trained to commission it?
It is not required — the bundle ships pre-configured with a checklist. It is still worth it: POSID's certification training works through the usual pitfalls on real hardware, from CT wiring to reading the logs.
Do all charge points have to come from the same vendor?
No. aCharge DYLAMO connects charge points over OCPP and Modbus TCP — mixed within the same installation if need be. You can start with whatever is available and add more later without committing to one vendor.
What happens during an internet outage?
The controller keeps regulating on site and enforces the site capacity unchanged, so charging continues. Once the connection returns it re-synchronises with the cloud automatically; sessions and meter readings are not lost.
